Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how School Communication Hub ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our school staff communication platform located at https://allinone.school.
1. Who We Are
School Communication Hub is a school staff communication platform developed and operated by All In One School (https://allinone.school). The platform is licensed to individual school buildings and districts, whose administrators manage user accounts and day-to-day use. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@allinone.school.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use the App:
- Account information – your name, username, and work email address, provided when your account is created.
- Content you create – announcements, calendar events, comments, and file links you add within the App.
- Usage data – which announcements you have read, your last login time.
- Google account data – when you choose to connect your Google account (see Section 3 below).
3. Google User Data
The App offers optional integration with Google services (Gmail and Google Drive). This integration is entirely opt-in — you must click "Connect with Google" to enable it.
What Google data we access:
- Gmail – we request read, send, and modify access to your Gmail inbox so you can view, send, and manage emails directly within the App.
- Google Drive – we request read-only access to your Drive so you can browse and pin your Drive files to your personal file list within the App.
How we use it:
- Gmail data is accessed in real time directly from Google's API and displayed only to you. We do not store, copy, or retain your email messages on our servers.
- Drive data is accessed only when you open the file picker. We store only the file name and URL of files you choose to pin — no file contents are stored.
- Your Google access token is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Sharing: We do not share your Google account data or any data obtained through Google APIs with any third parties.
Revoking access: You can disconnect your Google account at any time by clicking "Disconnect account" on the Email page, or by visiting your Google Account permissions page and removing this app.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App for school staff communication.
- To display announcements, calendar events, and shared resources relevant to you.
- To show unread message counts and track which content you have seen.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored in a secured database managed by your school's instance of the App. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and are never stored in plain text. Access to the App requires authentication. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.
6. Data Retention
Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and data, please contact your school administrator. Administrators can manage and delete user accounts directly from the Admin Panel. For platform-level concerns, you may also reach us at support@allinone.school.
7. Children's Privacy
This App is intended for use by school staff (adults) only. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
